Rate Yourself

These ratings decide who you play with and against

Every week the squad gets split into even sides, both by the team generator and by captains picking teams. These ratings are what that is based on. If everyone marks themselves a 10 the ratings tell us nothing, and you end up with one-sided games. Accurate ratings mean closer, better matches for everyone.

1–3	Below average for this group — still learning this part of your game
4–6	Average for this group. Most players sit here for most skills
7–8	One of the stronger players here at this
9–10	Genuinely exceptional — semi-pro or academy standard

Almost nobody is a 9 or 10 at more than one or two things. Your captain will see how you actually play in your first game either way.

That is an exceptionally high set of ratings. Please have another look before you carry on — 4 to 6 is average for this group.

I have checked my ratings and they are accurate.

One last step — join the WhatsApp group

This is where the games actually happen, so please join before you go.

A poll goes out in the main group (FootyVision - Matches) every Sunday at 8pm for outfield players. Goalkeepers have their own group (FootyVision - Goalkeepers) with a poll at the same time.

It is £13 per match for outfield players, and free at the moment for goalkeepers. Goalkeepers are rotated to spread the games out and give everyone a go, as far as possible.

The night before, or on the day, you will be asked to confirm you are playing. Just add a thumbs up or thumbs down to the post in the main group so Linus knows who is available.

The groups are for announcements only, so you won’t be able to post in them. If you have a question, message Linus directly and he’ll come back to you.

Choosing "Yes" connects your new login to that profile, so your goals, assists and clips all appear in one place. Nothing on the profile is changed or deleted.
